Pretty Penny Cafe works hard to serve LOCALLY GROWN CUISINE.

Our jobs are to provide you with the freshest, tastiest food your hard earned money can buy!

You deserve it and we owe it to our customers.

I was born and raised in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, and learned how to cook fresh, delicious meals from my mother, Penny.  My mother used local ingredients in her food, and the fact that our food came from our garden and our fields made the food taste that much better. The hand made food I always took for granted stuck out in my mind when I decided to take the leap to follow my dream of opening my own restaurant, which I named Pretty Penny in honor of my Mom. At The Pretty Penny, we’re serving up locally grown cuisine that is familiar to your taste buds and new to your repertoire. I know exactly who grew the food and where it came from.  By supporting Pretty Penny Cafe, you are supporting farmers and local businesses all over Pocahontas, Randolph, and Greenbrier Counties.  We’ve got a little something for everyone – movie nights, Friday night Bluegrass with our friends and neighbors, special music nights with nationally touring bans, wing nights, and even catering and special parties for events and holidays! Stop in and see us sometime soon!

  1. I don’t get to eat at The Pretty Penny as often as I would like but the times I have eaten there the food has been absolutely wonderful and service is top notch. Blair and her staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is pleasant and enjoyable. I highly recommend The Pretty Penny for a great dining experience. You won’t be disappointed.

  2. Look forward to visiting your restaurant. We visit Marlinton often in the summer. My in-laws have a camo there and we have a camp at Summersville and drive to Marlinton almost every weekend. Just a side note, you nee to correct the typo in your web-site, you left the “k” off of took in you quote took for granted.
